Some wedding days just feel effortless – full of love, laughter, and the kind of calm that lets everyone truly soak in the moment. That perfectly sums up Dionne & Chris’s wedding at the stunning Rudding Park in Harrogate.
I first met Dionne at a wedding fayre hosted at the venue and from the moment we chatted, I knew her day was going to be something special. She was the most chilled out brides ever – totally relaxed, full of warmth and so genuinely excited to marry her best friend surrounded by their lovely family.
Rudding Park, with its elegant architecture and gorgeous grounds, made the perfect backdrop for their celebration. It’s such a timeless venue – stylish yet down-to-earth, much like the couple themselves. From the soft light during portraits to the beautifully styled chapel, it was a dream to photograph.
The day flowed with so much love and joy and one of the most touching moments came during the speeches – when Dionne’s youngest son stood up to say a few heartfelt words. It was one of those moments that gets you right in the chest – honest, emotional and so full of pride.
Later on, as the sun dipped and the party began, Dionne surprised everyone by changing into the cutest mini dress for the evening celebrations – and she looked amazing. It was the perfect choice for dancing the night away and just enjoying the fun with friends and family.
From beginning to end, the whole day was a reminder of what weddings are really about – love, connection and celebrating the people who matter most. Dionne & Chris made it feel easy, fun and incredibly meaningful.
It was such a pleasure to be a part of their day and I can’t wait to be back at Rudding Park again soon. It’s truly one of Yorkshire’s most special venues – and this day was the perfect example of just how magical it can be.
